Christmas Time!

Today our antenatal group got together for a bit of festive feasting. Our first Christmas as mothers and something worth celebrating. So we dressed the kiddies up in appropriate Christmas outfits and got together for lunch. The babes seemed to enjoy themselves as did we.

Work That Camera!

Graduated into....

About a month ago now Abbey made the move... well technically I made it for her into her own room. She had hit the four month mark and with hope that being in her own room might encourage her to sleep through I decided it was time.
So I cleared up the single room, dismantled the single bed sorted through bits and pieces that we had been storing under the bed and found new homes for them. And with Abbey watching by from her jolly jumper and then the bouncer I moved her cot and change table from our room to hers.

I'd forgotten how much more room there was in our bedroom before she came along! I could have my bedside table and lamp back and Ryan could have a bit more room to get out of bed.

It was kinda strange that night not having her in our room and she did still wake up just the once but we certainly weren't as disturbed by her various sleepy noises, from grunts to snorts to farts we didn't hear a thing!

Her room is a lot darker than ours which has been good i the middle of the day for her sleeps and also in the mornings she doesn't have the sun streaming in the window waking her up and so consequently I think she's sleeping a lot better.

Abbey has photos of her Aunties and Uncles, cousins and friends on the wall so that eventually when she gets to meet some of them she will smile instead of scream.
Oo0o0o o0o0o and guess what.... she has a new trick!!
YIP SHE'S SLEEPING THROUGH THE NIGHT!!!!
I felt like a new woman after two nights of 8hrs sleep! It's amazing how much the body needs that rest to function. Unlike the bottle she has taken to sleeping through with much more Consistancy and it definitely hasn't just been a once off. She still has her dreamy feed at 1030pm and then we tuck her into bed, kiss her goodnight, close the door and don't see her till 7am! Absolute bliss! I'm praying that once we hit the full on teething stage that she's still going to be able to sleep but just in case I'm making the most of it and enjoying it while it lasts!
