Getting ready for sunshine

I was going through Abbey's drawers yesterday sorting through clothes, what will fit in a months time and what needs to be boxed. We decided to have a little dress up and make sure her cool shades (c/o Bex) still fit.

We are good to go!

6 MONTHS TODAY!

There was a day not so long ago when my belly was so gloriously pregnantly full that it stuck out as much as Abbey is in this but now I have her beautiful little self out here with me and it's been wonderful.

This is us this morning about 7:30am having a bit of camera fun and thanking God for the 6 months of her life that has brought joy and happiness to us all.

Ryan commented the other day that he's 56 and I'm 50 times her age! Kinda bizarre when you think of it like that. It's amazing that she's been with us for half a year already and even more amazing the changes in her over that time.Here's a few photos of the change in our little girl over the last 6 mths

Food, Glorious Food!

I've been trying to upload a video of Abbey eating but it's just not working for me so this pic is the next best thing.

So far she seems to be thoroughly enjoying the taste and texture of everything I have offered her.

The menu has consisted of:

Baby Rice

Pear

Apple and Cinnamon

Banana

Kumera

Butternut

Courgette

Potato

I need to get into Brocolli and Cauliflour next and then start getting into meat to up her iron intake.

So fun fun fun!

Sitting up

So Abbey and I were playing today with her little friend (on loan) the caterpillar I was sitting and she was sitting and Mr Caterpillar was going back and forward between us.

That's RIGHT Abbey was SITTING! Granted she toppled over very gracefully... twice but otherwise managed to keep her balance really well.

I think she might be onto something here.

Woohoo another milestone in one the ladder of human development.

I'm a proud mummy today.

Updated with more photos and yip she's definitely onto something. Abbey's very happy to sit on her own. The world will be taking on a whole new appearance for her which must be exciting
